I brought our daughter's dog Monty to visit the woods on 7th May 2012. He has cancer and may not last much longer, but he really loves the woods and they are magical with bluebells at this time of year. No need for signs or maps - I always carry a small compass and I know that heading south will always take you back to the car park. There were large numbers of people in the car park when we arrived, but we chose a secluded path and did not meet another soul on our walk. A very happy and memorable visit.

As always a beautiful place even in the rain. Does anyone know what the access is meant to be for dirt bikes. We saw at least two on Sat 28.04.12 PM, and from the tracks seen, they had followed the sculpture path for most of the route.

We enjoy walking here but wondered if you have a map as we would like to walk further afield but are unsure of the direction and length of the walks because we are a family of mixed ages.
