About Wapley Hill Wood
Come and discover this historic working woodland.
Wapley hill holds many stories of different uses dating back to the Iron Age. Today the woodland is managed for productive forestry but you are welcome to come and walk and enjoy the beech trees and discover the hillfort.
How to get there:
Wapley Hill Wood is part of The Marches. Stansbatch is the nearest town or village.
1 mile off the B4362, Shobdon to Presteigne road. Follow the brown tourist sign at Byton.
