Bury Ditches Hill Fort Car Park

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Bury Ditches Hill Fort Car Park

Harvesting work is moving on and we have had to close all the waymarked trails due to timber being felled and hauled along and close to the tracks.

Visitors can still visit the hillfort but will not be able to go further into the woods.

We hope the work will be completed by the end of May.

This free car park provides parking for approximately 20 cars and is the starting point for waymarked trails and cycle link. The site also offers picnic tables and a relief model of the Hill Fort.

How to get there:

Bury Ditches Hill Fort Car Park is in Bury Ditches And Colstey Wood which is part of The Marches.
Located down a country lane between Clunton and Lydbury North, the woodland is signposted from the B4368 and B4385.
