About Livia

Livia is a newly developing community woodland which will create access to new areas of woodland, grassland and heathland. When finished Livia will offer fanatastic opportuntities for outdoor recreation with 3km of new footpaths and multiuse tracks. Already complete is the Queensmere Dam which is one of the largest fishing lakes in the England. Livia provides great views into the middle of Manchester from the site. Livia is being developed in partnership with Salford City Council, Groundwork and North West Development Agency.

How to get there:

Swinton is the nearest town or village.

By Road - The entrance to Livia is off the A666 between the M60 and Pendlebury around the junction with the B5231.

What a difference you have made to Drinkwater Park, it is now the best place to walk in the area because of the pathways. Thank you!

Does Livia include the parks below if so it is a very good project in the middle of an urban sprawl.Need maps of the paths.Seem to be more than 3 kms of tracks including Prestwich Forest Park, Phillips park, Drinkwater Park and Clifton Country Park.
