Sadly all the Daffodils are finished now, we are looking forward to the wild spring flowers to show. On clear days wonderful views of the Pennines and Scout Moor wind farm. Another sad thing ! The car park entrance. Please a little work needed.

Could you please make a space between the boulders dividing the car park so during the summer months all the car park can be used? It is getting quite packed now and the cars are parking in three rows it makes reversing out difficult at times and we had our car left damaged by another user reversing out and leaving us with a hefty bill for repairs. All the car park is needed during the busy times. Can you answer me please at email below.

When are you going to do some improvement work at Horrocks Wood Lancashire. The entrance to the car park has huge potholes again. The paths are overgrown and too narrow to accomodate a wheelchair or pushchair or even a couple walking side by side. The lower paths have deep ruts caused by rainfall and are dangerous to people dogs and horses. Is the car park closed at night? as it gets in a disgusting state at times with litter Each time we go to this lovely open space I pick up litter and put it into the bin. Maybe a notice would help remind these thoughtless folk that they are spoiling a lovely visit for everyone else. Also a bin nearer the cars for these thoughtless litter Louts. Please carry out some much needed care for Horrocks Wood.
