About Cannop
Located beside Cannop Ponds there is a large grassed area ideal for family games and picnics. The popular fishing lake is an idyllic spot to view local birdlife, including Mandarin ducks. It also has good access to cycleways, please keep to the main family cycle trail rather than using the pondside paths. There is a waymarked red trail for walkers starting and finishing at the picnic site.
The ponds are leased to Yorkley Angling Club for fishing, day tickets can be purchased from the club bailiff at the bankside. Please keep dogs under control and out of the water when fishermen are present.
