About Cely Woods

Surrounded by the mature and ancient woodlands of Warwick and of White Post Woods, Cely Woods offers meadows, a small wetland and newly planted coupes of native trees. Also there’s an excellent network of paths, many all-ability accessible, providing a range of users with numerous route options around the site. It’s a rich habitat with numerous insects and flowers. Wildlife across the wetlands is a year-round treat. Try observing it from the wooden bridge that straddles the stream, dubbed the Common Watercourse. Or enjoy the views there south towards North Kent. All together Cely Woods delivers a real feel for the countryside in outer London.

Am a regular to these woods, they are a hidden gem, can find me jogging here daily, its out of the way with no-one to judge, variety of places to run, paths meadows, and if your adventuros, striaght through the trees. Must agree with ian and mary, the dog foul is an unplesnet obsticale course! Apart from that a great get away, Wheather it be a picnic a stroll with the dog, a view in the trees, a magical little place.

Had a wonderful day at Cely Woods today. We took a picnic and used the picnic benches by the bridge. The bluebells were out in the woods and there was a magnificent carpet of blue. Our dogs really enjoyed themselves too. It is a hidden gem.
