How to get there:

Earls Colne and Essex are the nearest towns or villages.

Turn on the Tey Road at the Carved Angel Pub in Earls Colne. After half a mile turn left at sharp bend.

Have been to these woods 3 times in the last week and we've loved it each time. Beautiful sights, sounds and scents.

living very c,oes to the woods means I go there most weekends, it's a great place to go with families or to go mountain biking as there are quite a few jumps there.

The wood was truly beautiful. The experience with my family was blighted by the unbelievable amount of dog excrement. It was everywhere.
