Forest is fun and good for bike rides, always new paths and places to go, thoroughly recommended - try Woolsbarrow Hillfort.

There's not much of the forest left - much of the trees have been cut down leaving mainly open heathland - probably for replanting purposes, but disappointing nonetheless.
