About Bottom Car Park

Managed in partnership with Exeter City Council's Countryside Service, Stoke Woods is a haven for wildlife and a great place to enjoy a short walk. Events and guided walks are run by the Exeter City Council rangers throughout the year.

Some sections of the walks can be steep but you will be rewarded with views over the Exe Estuary and a fascinating insight in to the forest.

How to get there:

Bottom Car Park is in Stoke Woods.
Follow the A396 Tiverton road from Exeter. One mile after Cowley Bridge turn right in to the signposted car park.
Exeter is the nearest town or village.
