Join us at Whinlatter to buy your real Christmas tree and get away from the crowds of the high street in our beautiful mountain setting, with a range of festive activities, seasonal food in Siskins Café and beautiful gifts in the forest shop throughout December
Christmas Tree Sales
Our Christmas tree centre will be open daily from Wednesday 30th November until Sunday the 19th of December (or until stocks last), from 10am until 4pm on weekdays and from 10am until 5pm at weekends.

Tree planting to celebrate National Tree Week - 4 December
International Mountain Day - 11 December
Celebrate International Mountain Day in the beautiful mountain forest. Come along to our lantern making workshops during the day and then join Storytree for a magical lantern story walk at dusk through the forest. Family craft activities with the RSPB and guided wildlife walks also available. No booking required for the lantern making, small charge applies.

How to get there:
Whinlatter Christmas Tree Sales Point is in Whinlatter Forest Park.
Road:- From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.
Bus:- Bus from Keswick.
Train:- Nearest station is Penrith (25 miles east) on the west coast mainline.
Keswick is the nearest town or village.
