About Bogle Crag

Midway between the Visitor Centre and the village of Satterthwaite, the car park at Bogle Crag is the starting point for 3 cicular walks which start and finish in ancient broadleaf woodland.

How to get there:

Bogle Crag is in Grizedale Forest Park.
From Grizedale Visitor Centre head south on the minor road to Satterthwaite. First turning on the left about 1 mile south of the Visitor Centre.
Hawkshead is the nearest town or village.

A lovely walk, boggy in parts in wet weather but some superb views over morecambe bay and one or two interesting sculptures.
