About Shell Woods Car Park

The construction of the car park was a joint project with the Forestry Commission, North Cornwall District Council, English Nature and the Westcountry Rivers Trust.

The car park was placed here as an access point to the Camel Trail.

In the car park there are picnic tables and information boards. There are two wooden carved benches depicting the life cycles of salmon otters. There is also a Westcountry Rivers Trust display area.

There is a double wooden gate and horse style access to the woods and disabled access ramp down to the Camel Trail.
