About Shell Woods

Shell Woods is a very small pocket of mixed woodland, with some lovely mature oak and beech at its margins.

The car park is an excellent point to join the Camel Trail

From the A30 near Bodmin, heading south - take the Bodmin/Liskeard/Lostwithiel exit. Take the first right, then right again onto Old Callywith Road. Follow this lane for approx. 2.5 miles until you see the Forestry Commission sign and car park on your left.

From the A30 just north of Bodmin, heading north

take the Helland/Bodmin turning on your left. Turn right and follow this lane for approx. 2 miles until you see the Forestry Commission sign and car park on your left.
