Variety of woods and forests in ex-industrial heartland of South Wales. Much of the forest is on reclaimed land. Superb views.

How to get there:

Treherbert, Cardiff, Porth, Aberdare, and Pontypridd are the nearest towns or villages.

Take the A470 north from Junction 32 of the M4. Turn onto the A4058 at Pontypridd which takes you into the Rhondda Valleys.
