About Halfway

Largely Coniferous forest in a steeply sided valley. A 1 or 2 mile waymarked Health Walk starts from a small parking area at the 1st road junction. This easy circular walk follows either side of the river Nant Y Dresglen.

How to get there:

Halfway is part of Crychan. Llandovery is the nearest town or village.

Taking the A40(T) East from Llandovery. The entrance to Halfway Forest is 4 miles on the left.

Good horsebox parking area, Lovely, varied tracks leading up to
Eppynt. Some spectacular views. Can get across to Crychan Forest if you have plenty of time. Thoroughly recommend
