About Crychan

A large easily accessible forest, riven with many valleys, some with streams others not. Borders large military firing range.

How to get there:

Llandovery is the nearest town or village.

Follow A483 NE from Llandovery for approx 4 miles. Take the road signed Tirabad for approx 3 miles. Esgair Fwyog and Brynffo car parks are on the right hand side of the road.

Fantastic facilities for horse riders. Wonderful, varied tracks (some quite steep) and superb views. Well marked routes. Spectacular, especially on a nice day.
