Gwaun Hepste Car Park

About Gwaun Hepste Car Park

Close to Ystradfellte, Powys - 'Village of the year 2004' - this large car park is one of the main access points to the waterfalls. A pay and display meter has been installed, which helps pays for a roving car park attendant. Take care in waterside areas as the rivers can be dangerous. Water is often cold deep and fast flowing. The ground near waterfalls is also steep rough and slippery. Keep to footpaths to prevent unnecessary erosion.

How to get there:

Gwaun Hepste Car Park is in Waterfalls which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests. Ystradfellte is the nearest town or village.

Head North from Penderyn on the A 4059. After 2 km turn left towards Ystradfellte. Follow the signs for Waterfalls.
