Gwaun Hepste Car Park

Close to Ystradfellte, Powys - 'Village of the year 2004' - this large car park is one of the main access points to the waterfalls. A pay and display meter will shortly be installed, which helps pays for a roving car park attendant. Take care in waterside areas as the rivers can be dangerous. Water is often cold deep and fast flowing. The ground near waterfalls is also steep rough and slippery. Keep to footpaths to prevent unnecessary erosion. Footpath closure - Sgwd yr Eira - Waterfall The above footpath is closed due to unstable condition of rock face above the footpath. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and we are in discussion with the relevant organisations to remedy the situation. For further information please contact Mansel Jones 08450 605 8045"
