About Cadwgan Car Park

Small car parking area surrounded by broadleaves. A grassy, riverside area beneath poplars provides pleasant surroundings for picnics.

How to get there:

Cadwgan Car Park is in Mynydd Du which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests.
From Abergavenny follow A465 North. After approximately 4 miles turn left at Llanvihangel Crucorney (Follow signs to Llanthony Abbey). At Stanton (approximately 2 miles) turn left and follow Forest Coal Pit signs. Follow the road to Mynydd Du Forest (6 miles). Cadwgan is on the right hand side.
Abergavenny and Hay on Wye are the nearest towns or villages.
