Penllyn
 

The five woodlands of Penllyn are upland plantations with large areas of open heathland and moorland among the predominantly coniferous woodlands.

How to get there:

Bala is the nearest town or village.

From the north
From the A5 join the A494 to Bala. Turn left as you enter Bala onto the B4391. Proceed for 1.5m then take the next right turn to Rhos y Gwaliau, entrance is 3m from junction.
From the west:
From the A470 join the A4212 to Bala proceed straight across the road onto B4391. Then as above.
From the south:
From the A470 join the A494 to Bala. Turn right after you have gone through Bala onto the B4391. Then as above.
