About Tyn y Groes car park and picnic site
Car park, riverside picnic site, playing field and toilet block. All facilities suitable for the less able. The car park is also the start of the Kings Guard and Mynydd Penrhos Trails.
How to get there:
Tyn y Groes car park and picnic site is in Coed y Brenin.
Follow the brown tourist signs on the A470 and turn East just South of Ganllwyd village, 200m North of the Tyn y Groes Hotel. The car park is 300m down the hill by the side of the river Mawddach.
Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.
