A small car park at the head of the Bailey Bridge where you will find the start of the rugged Volcano Trail.

How to get there:

Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.
OS Grid Reference: SH 733251

From visitor centre head South on A470 for 2 miles. On reaching the village of Ganllwyd turn sharp left immediately after the 40mph speed limit sign. Follow this minor road over a stone bridge and continue following the road on the right with the river Mawddach below. The car park is on the right at the head of the Bailey bridge after about quarter of a mile.
