Glasdir car park and picnic site

About Glasdir car park and picnic site

The main car park is adjacent to a picnic site with barbecue by the side of the delightful Afon Las river, the start of the Glasdir walks. There is an additional disabled only car park with an accessible picnic table and access to the all-ability trail at the top of the Copper Works.

How to get there:

Glasdir car park and picnic site is in Coed y Brenin.
East off the A470 following the brown tourist signs for Tyn y Groes. Follow the tarmac road South past the Tyn y Groes picnic site for just over 1km. The car park is on the right with a picnic site a short walk away across the road. For the disabled car park continue along the tarmac road, bear sharp left up the steep hill, turn right at the crossroads at the top of the hill and the car park is on the right over the stone bridge.
Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Bala, Barmouth, and Machynlleth are the nearest towns or villages.
