Coed Coesau Whips
 

Close to Rudry, this delightful mixed woodland offers short easy walks from a choice of two car parks. Those wishing to venture further into the woodland will be rewarded with beautiful views of Cardiff and the Draethen valley.

How to get there:

Rudry and Caerphilly are the nearest towns or villages.

From Caerphilly town centre follow Van Road towards Rudry. Continue over Rudry Common for approx 1 mile to the car park close to the Maenllwyd Inn.
From Junction 28 of the M4 take the A468 to Caerphilly turning left towards Draethen. Travel through Draethen to the Maenllwyd Inn and the nearby car park. Public transport is available to the villages of Rudry and Draethen.
