About Blinkbonny car park

The car park sits on the site of a former smiddy and cottages known locally as 'Top Blinky'. It is surrounded by a stone wall there is space for a number of cars and there are a couple of benches to take in the great views.

Follow the forest road from here for a circular walk through the forest. You can also enjoy walking or cycling along the forest roads themselves.

How to get there:

Blinkbonny car park is in Woodmuir Forest.
From the A71 near West Calder, take the A704 and follow for about four km. The car park is on the right-hand side where a rough track joins the A704 from Breich Village.
Alternately, from the A706, follow the A704 for about 2.5km and the car park is on the left-hand side.
Fauldhouse, Forth, Whitburn, and West Calder are the nearest towns or villages.
