Recreation at Woodmuir Forest

Woodmuir Forest lies at the border between West Lothian and South Lanarkshire. Sitting on a rolling hillside there are brilliant views to the north. At the car park visitors can see from the Bathgate hills to Ben Lomond and beyond on clear days.

How to get there:

Fauldhouse, West Calder, Whitburn, and Forth are the nearest towns or villages.

From the A71 near West Calder take the A704 and follow for approximately 4km. The car park is on the right hand side where a rough track joins the A704 from Breich village. Or from the A706, take the A704 for about 2.5km and the car park is on the left.
