Strathfillan and Glen Dochart
 

The Forestry Commission has been working with the local community in this area to provide walking access to the forests from the highland gateway villages of Crianlarich and Tyndrum. The West Highland Way passes through the forest here and access to the high tops can be gained by several routes.

How to get there:

Crianlarich and Tyndrum is the nearest town or village.

From Glasgow
travel up the shores of Loch Lomond on the A82 into Glen Falloch and onwards to Crianlarich. Head West for Strathfillan and Tyndrum, head East for Glen Falloch.
Nearest railway stations
Crianlarich, Tyndrum.
From Stirling
Travel on the A85 to Glen Dochart and on to Crianlarich and Tyndrum.
From the North
Take the A82 South from Inverness and Fort William, through Glencoe to Tyndrum and on to the A85 to Crianlarich.
