Pass of Leny

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Pass of Leny

The car park provides access to a viewpoint in the woods overlooking the Pass of Leny, and to the Falls of Leny. The Falls are an awsome sight, particularly after heavy rain, as millions of gallons of water thunder over the narrow rock ledge into the gorge below.

Please take care if you cross the main road to the footpath leading to the Falls of Leny.

The carpark is closed at the present time to allow harvesting of the coniferous crop. This will be over a two year period. All walks in Leny Woods are closed to allow the harvesting to take place.

How to get there:

Pass of Leny is in Strathyre Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Callander, Kilmahog, and Strathyre are the nearest towns or villages.

This car park is currently closed to allow harvesting operations to take place.

From Callander follow the A84 via Kilmahog. The car park entrance is signposted on the right hand side of the main road a mile beyond Kilmahog.
