Have a lazy picnic by the River Forth and enjoy local waymarked walks along the river and through the mature conifers and oakwood of Fairy Knowe.

How to get there:

Lemahamish is in Loch Ard Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle and Gartmore are the nearest towns or villages.

Follow the A81 south from Aberfoyle for 2 miles then turn onto the minor public road signposted to Gartmore. The entrance to the forest is sign-posted after a further mile. Follow the signposts along the forest road for about a mile to the forest car park.
