About Rowardennan
Walk the West Highland Way, climb the heights of Ben Lomond or just sit awhile by the bonny banks of Loch Lomond. Whatever you do, we hope you will enjoy your visit.
Moo'ving On
Cattle drovers used to stop here on their way to the great cattle fairs down south. From the eighteenth century other drovers came this way: visitors wanting to view the sunrise from the summit of Ben Lomond. Today Rowardennan is one of the most popular spots in the national park; please help us keep it a pleasant place for all to enjoy.
The Highest Honour
From west to east, across both the Highlands and the Lowlands, Ben Lomond keeps a watch over a great swathe of this country: a suitable place for a memorial park to Scots who gave their lives in the Second World War.
