About Balmaha
Please note the blue trail is currently closed to allow clearance of windblown trees.
This is the Gateway to the Highlands. Pause here before climbing up through Balmaha Pass heading towards Cashel, Sallochy, Rowardennan and Ben Lomond.
Conic Hill towers behind the car park. There are superb viewpoints for walkers on the West Highland Way - the long distance footpath from Milngavie to Fort William.
Follow the blue waymarkers and enjoy the woodlands behind Balmaha. The trail will take you approximately one hour to complete. You will see large Scots pine and spruce plantations.
