About Achray, Forest Drive Exit

The 3 Lochs Forest Drive will be closed for the winter period from the 29th October 2011. It is open during the season April - October, 10am - 5pm. Out of season it is still accessible by foot or cycle. 

Achray, Forest Drive Exit is the access point for a number of walks in the area and as the name suggests, the exit point for the 3 Lochs Forest Drive.

Enjoy pine, conifer and birch woodland in the area, as well as a range of other native species. One of the paths follows the banks of Loch Achray for some way.

How to get there:

Achray, Forest Drive Exit is in Achray Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Follow the Dukes pass north out of Aberfoyle. The car park is situated at the end of the Three Lochs Forest Drive, approximately seven miles north. This access is not signed.
Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

Sincere thanks for maintaining this forest drive. Someone close to me has a disability that prevents them from walking or cycling tracks like this. We really appreciated being able to share the beauty and peace of the three lochs.
