Recreation at West Forth Woodland
 

A mixed woodland sitting on high ground about 7 miles north of Lanark. Popular with both locals and visitors for the great variety of walks, good opportunities for wildlife spotting, a beautiful wildflower meadow and the impressive views.

How to get there:

Forth is the nearest town or village.

West Forth Woodland spans both sides of the A706 Lanark to Linlithgow road, about 7 miles north of Lanark. The woodland lies to the south of Forth village.

There are 3 waymarked trails in the woodland to follow and many other grass paths throughout to explore.
