Buzzards Nest Car Park
 

This is the highest vehicle access point in the forest and is the best place to park for family access on to the cycle trails. The Freeride area can be accessed from this car park. For more information please visit the 7 Stanes website using the link on the right hand side. The reconstructed Iron Age Round House can be found approximately 1 mile (25 minutes walk) from the car park. The Buzzards Nest provides an excellent start base for the Tower Trail, University Trail and the Time Trail walks.

How to get there:

Peebles is the nearest town or village.
OS Grid Reference: NT277411

One and a half miles east of Peebles on the A72.
Once on forest road go past the Osprey Car Park and follow road uphill beyond the Red Squirrel Car park. Follow forest road for about one mile and the road splits to the left uphill from the forest drive. Car park is well sign posted.
Please adhere to the 15mph speed limit.
