About Cademuir
This is a mixed woodland which sits on Cademuir Hill overlooking Peebles and Glentress. This is one of the most peaceful forests in the Tweed Valley Forest Park making it ideal for spotting wildife.
There is a network of walking trails allowing you to explore this little gem of a forest. Cycling and horse riding are also welcome but please be aware of other users and forest operations.

How to get there:
Cademuir is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.
From Peebles High Street, head west towards Glasgow until you come to the mini-round about at the end of the High Street.
Turn left and go onto the B7062. Once over the bridge, take the second right and follow the signs for the school. Turn right uphill, and just before the school, turn left onto the unclassified road.
Follow this road for approximately one and a half miles. Cademuir forest access point is on the right.
