Recreation at Carron Valley Car-park
 

Just a short distance along the forest road from the main forest entrance and you'll find this large car park. Situated next to a lovely burn it's a great spot to relax or start a ramble through the forest. The Car Park is currently opened from 7.30am until 6pm at night when the gate is then locked.

Walking trails

    Walkers are welcome and many already enjoy a stroll or hike within the forest. Note however there are no way-markers or signs at present.

Cycling trails

How to get there:

Carron Valley Car-park is in Carron Valley Forest. Denny, Fintry, Kilsyth, and Stirling are the nearest towns or villages.

The car-park is situated on the south side of the B818 Denny to Fintry road about 7 miles west of Denny.

Activities

Wildlife Activities Keep your eyes open and you could spot red squirrels, dippers or even a pine martin!
