Recreation at Carron Valley Car-park

 

Just a short distance along the forest road from the main forest entrance and you'll find this large car park. Situated next to a lovely burn it's a great spot to relax or start a ramble through the forest. The Car Park is currently opened from 7.30am until 6pm at night when the gate is then locked.

Walkers are welcome and many already enjoy a stroll or hike within the forest. Note however there are no way-markers or signs at present.

Cycling trails

Cyclists are welcome to explore the forest roads or the purpose-built mountain bike trails.

How to get there:

Carron Valley Car-park is in Carron Valley Forest. Denny, Fintry, Kilsyth, and Stirling are the nearest towns or villages.

The car-park is situated on the south side of the B818 Denny to Fintry road about 7 miles west of Denny.

	Keep your eyes open and you could spot red squirrels, dippers or even a pine martin!
