About Lossie
This pine clad coastal forest stretches from Lossiemouth towards Kingston at the mouth of the River Spey.
Walkers, horseriders and cyclists are welcome to explore the many tracks through the woods and out to the shore.
Hidden amongst the trees is a concrete built defence line comprising hundreds and hundreds of WWII anti tank cubes, pillboxes and a six inch gun emplacement. Forestry has protected this well-preserved stretch of what were once widespread defence lines.
