Balloch and Dunnyduff

About Balloch and Dunnyduff

Sections of Balloch will be closed for tree felling work from Monday 23rd January till end March.  Maps on site will tell you what is affected at any one time.

Dunnyduff Wood is close to Keith.  There are great views across to Keith, Balloch and surrounding countryside.  Follow the waymarked trail through this beautiful mature hardwood woodland to Tarnish waterfall. A pretty woodland to visit in all seasons.

The Balloch is a mature spruce woodland with waymarked walking and horse trails running through it.

Please note - there is some timber harvesting in The Balloch. Trails are unaffected but please stop if you see timber lorries loading up and wait till they see you before proceeding.

How to get there:

Balloch and Dunnyduff is in Forests of Moray and Aberdeenshire.
To Dunnyduff: There is very limited parking at Dunnyduff so park your car at Reidhaven Square in Keith. Follow signs from the Square to the wood - Grid reference - NJ 447500
To The Balloch: Drive the minor road from Reidhaven Square in Keith past Dunnyduff Wood and on past Herricks Water Works - grid Reference - NJ 458495
Keith is the nearest town or village.
