Whiteash

Whiteash includes the Winding Walks, a maze of paths which wind through magnificent firs and spruces in a steep-sided gully. The original paths and bridges were built in the 19th century by the Duke of Gordon. Choose to explore the narrow ‘Winding Walks’ paths or try one of the more formal waymarked walks in Whiteash Forest. The gazebo at ‘The Peeps’ viewpoint and the Duchess of Richmond monument provide excellent views over the surrounding countryside.
Whiteash also offers two linked mountain bike trails; the ‘Fochabers Ring’, a red (difficult) route of around 8km and the ‘Fochabers Freeride’, a black (severe) trail for advanced riders only!

How to get there:

Fochabers is the nearest town or village.
OS Grid Reference:

By car or on foot from Fochabers follow the A98 East towards Buckie, the Winding walks Car Park is approximately 1 mile from Fochabers on the right.
