Wellhill Car Park
 

The car park gives direct access to the spectacular Hill 99 trail along with the rest of the forest. Leaflets, including a map of the forest, are available here, along with toilet facilities.

Walking trails

How to get there:

Wellhill Car Park is in Culbin which is part of Moray Forests. Forres is the nearest town or village.

From Forres take the A96 west to the Findhorn bridge, then follow the Culbin Forest signs to Kintessack (3 miles) and Wellhill.
, From Nairn take the A96 east to Brodie, turn left over the railway and along the unclassified roads to Cloddymoss and Kintessack. Wellhill is 1 mile beyond Kintessack.
, By train: The nearest station is Forres, three miles from Wellhill on foot, or a ten minute taxi-ride.
, By bus: Local buses run from Forres to Dyke and Kintessack, villages close to Wellhill, on schooldays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Just ask the driver or any other passenger for advice on the best place to walk from.
, By bike: National Cycle Route 1 runs through the south side of Culbin, around 800 metres from the main car park at Wellhill.

ACCESS ROAD AND CAR PARK TEMPORARY CLOSURE.
