About Icehouse Bridge

A bridge across the river leads to the icehouse at the other side.

Keep an eye out for a variety of wildlife to along the riverbank.

How to get there:

Icehouse Bridge is in Lord Ancrum's Wood.
Once in the College grounds, walk towards the front of the building up the main driveway. Cut across the parkland once you see the Forestry Commission Scotland sign beside the riverbank. The bridge is beside the sign.
Dalkeith is the nearest town or village.

excellent walk - can see all the work that has been done. The woods have really been opened up and it is a pleasure to walk there.
