There are good points for enjoying classic Sutherland views over Strathnaver and inland to well known hills such as Ben Loyal.

The renowned River Naver, famous for its salmon fishing, runs alongside the forest road leading to the car park.

How to get there:

Naver (Rosal) Forest is part of Sutherland. Bettyhill is the nearest town or village.

By road, travel south from Bettyhill on the B871 for approximately 10 miles, turn left over river at Syre and follow Forest Enterprise signs for Rosal.
