Rogie Falls

About Rogie Falls

This is the starting point for forest trails which lead down to Rogie Falls and the Blackwater River. See the activities section on this page for more information.

If you are using the footbridge at Rogie Falls, please note Highland Council recommend a maximum of 5 people on the bridge at any one time.

The car park lies beside the A835 road, two miles west of Contin.

There are toilets available here during the summer months which are owned and run by the Highland Council.

How to get there:

Rogie Falls is in Torrachilty Forest.
From Contin, take the A835 road west heading for Ullapool, for approximately two miles.
You will see the sign for the Rogie Falls car park beside the road. The car park is on the east side of the A835.
Contin is the nearest town or village.

Beautiful sight to see, we enjoyed it! Didn't see any fish jumping, but that doesn't make it any less nice! Unfortunately a couple sat on a rock near the falls, which meant you couldn't get a camerashot without them in... Can't believe some people...

Went to Rogie yesterday - new path much better although it was a shame to see the woods to the left as you walk down cut down. Always a lovely spot to visit
