Leanachan
 

Leanachan Forest is one of the main timber producing areas in Lochaber but also plays host to ski-ing, cycling, horse riding and Husky Sled Dog Racing.
For the cycling enthusiast there is the choice of World class facilities for Cross Country, Downhill and 4 Cross plus miles of family grade routes all starting from Nevis Range.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CYCLE ROUTE LINK FROM TORLUNDY TO AONACH MOR ACCESS ROAD IS CLOSED FOR TIMBER HARVESTING. PLEASE FOLLOW DIVERSION ROUTE.

Fort William is the nearest town or village.
OS Grid Reference:

From Inverness follow the signs for Fort William on the A82. Once past Speanbridge the forest is on your left and the main entrance is on the same road as the Aonach Mor gondola ski ride. From the South you must go through Fort William and stay on the A82 heading for Inverness and you will see the signs for the Aonach Mor ski center approximately 3.5 miles outside the town.
