Kinloch

Kinloch forest has a mixture of native ash and oakwood remnants within a conifer matrix. Part of these native woodlands are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). From the forest there are fantastic views of the Sound of Sleat and the rugged mountains of the mainland including Beinn Sgritheall which is a 'Munro'.

How to get there:

Isleornsay, Skulamus, Broadford, Kyleakin, and Isle Of Skye are the nearest towns or villages.

From the A850 Kyleakin to Portree road, turn south at Skulamus along the A851. Kinloch forest is 4 miles further on, on the east of the A851.
