Uath Lochans Car Park

The car park/picnic site at Uath Lochans is one of the most scenic locations in Inshriach Forest and the wider Strathspey area, though it is still relatively unknown. If you are looking to get away from it all in beautiful woodland surrounding, this is the place to come.

Walking trails

How to get there:

Uath Lochans Car Park is in Inshriach Forest. Kincraig is the nearest town or village.

From Kincraig, take the road opposite the memorial stone in the middle of the village, which leads down to the wooden bridge over the River Spey. Carry on this road for about 1 mile to reach a T-junction. Turn right, and after 0.5 mile, a minor road appears on the left beside Insh House. Take this road for 1.5.miles to where a Forest Enterprise sign appears on the right just before a forest road. Take this road to reach the car park.
