About Honey Buzzard Migration Watch

This project is investigating the migration routes and wintering grounds of the small population of honey buzzards which breed in the forests of the Highlands of Scotland.

It uses minute satellite transmitters to track the movement of these elusive birds of prey to their wintering sites in Africa.

The project is being run by the Highland Foundation for Wildlife and the Forestry Commission with assistance from Scottish Natural Heritage.

See http://www.roydennis.org/honey-buzzard/index.asp?id=166 for details.
