Glen Righ Wood
 

Inchree wood is based round the community of Onich and is a mixture of broadleaves and commercial forest. The land is steep in places but accessible from a central car park. Spectacular views to the isles in the West and North up the Great Glen are found on the walks.

How to get there:

Onich is the nearest town or village.
OS Grid Reference:

Drive South from Fort William for approximately 10 miles and about 1 mile past the Corran ferry ramp the entrance is on the left. From the South on the A82 about 1 mile north of the Onich hotel on the right at the start of a straight section in the road. Look out for the Forestry Commission signs. Buses are available check at the local tourist information centres for more details.

The wood is a typical West coast situation and requires that any visitors should be prepared for any type of weather. Stout foot wear is recommended when walking.
