Braveheart
 

The car park itself was as a direct result of the filming of the movie, Braveheart starring Mel Gibson. The film crew wanted an area in the forest to park the their film units, including Mel's 'Winabago' and thus Braveheart Car Park was born. There is parking for 34 vehicles and has a height restriction barrier at the entrance.(1.9m)There is an interpretation panel within the car park for orientation and walk information.

How to get there:

Braveheart is in Glen Nevis. Fort William is the nearest town or village.

Once you have entered the glen at the roudabout approximately 2km further on the car park is situated on your right and is well signed.
