About Braveheart

The car park was made here for the 1995 film Braveheart, but the name has stuck with locals ever since!

Situated close to Fort William, this is an ideal place to start exploring Glen Nevis.

Access to Cow Hill trails, Dun Deardail Fort and the West Highland Way, and the Wishing Stone walk are all possible from here.

Braveheart carpark and the wishing stone walks are currently being upgraded. Be prepared for some areas to be closed of or diverted.

How to get there:

Braveheart is in Glen Nevis.
Once you have entered the glen at the roudabout, the car park is approximately two km further on, on the right, and is well signed.
Fort William is the nearest town or village.
