About Glen Garry Native Pine Wood
The pinewoods are part of the Caledonian Reserves that have been designated by Europe for protection and restoration. The pinewood is part of the larger Glengarry Forest area and as such is surrounded by other tree species including broadleaves and conifers.
Allt Na Cailliche trails are closed due to tree cutting work and a dangerously damaged bridge at Mandallay. The Ben Tee path is open but walkers will need to find an alternative route around the Allt Na Cailliche trails. Please obey all signage. (Expected to open March 2012)
How to get there:
Invergarry is the nearest town or village.
Invergarry is situated at the junction of the A82 and the A87. It is approximately 25 miles north of Fort William and 43 miles south of Inverness.
Once in Invergarry follow the road through for about two miles and you will see our signs. The entrance is on the left.
